Chillingsworth has taken an unusual interest in the personal life of Dimmesdale, this is rather weird. Chillingsworth talks about the weeds growing from the grave and says that they are growing from his heart because he is guilty of something, and should have confessed while he was alive. Some people take things too far and always think the worst. Chillingsworth has a way of making Dimmesdale's stay rather unpleasant, which is not far to Dimmesdale. Dimmesdale has made some choices that are not best for him, but hopefully things in town will return to normal and Dimmesdale will be okay again. Dimmesdale is a smart man with powerful sermons and deserves the best.
I read the articles What I Learned When I Applied Early Action and Early Decision and 5 College Admission Terms I'd Never Heard Of. Both articles were very informational and helpful when thinking about applying to colleges. In the first article, What I Learned When I Applied Early Action and Early Decision, the author explains what each term means and how she feels about them. She explained that she regretted both decisions and first hand experienced them. She was particularly against Early Action. In the article Emily talked about how these options are not for everyone, but some people might be rather fond of them. In the second article, 5 College Admission Terms I'd Never Heard Of, Emily talks about the terms legacy, regency scholar, peer evaluation, holistic review, and appeal. She goes on to explain how these terms are important to understand before applying to colleges and could be beneficial when deciding what colleges to apply to. Some of the information could even be helpful in deciding who you should ask for letters of recommendation.
The author of both articles is a reliable source because she explained different scenarios in each situation that she experienced firsthand. In both articles the idea of really thinking about what colleges you want to attend is extremely important. Do not pick schools just because they have a big name or because all of your friends are attending that college. Choose the college that will make you a better person in the long run and help you in future careers. Another important thing you can take out of this article is to not be a follower, you might have to branch out and do things that are uncomfortable when it comes to making college decisions and that’s okay. Both articles were very well written and explain college situations and how to get through them in a way that is understandable to high school students. Work Cited: Liu, Emily.
